Why Volunteer?

Volunteers are the life blood of not only community associations, but non-profit agencies everywhere. Volunteering can be a deeply fulfilling experience, providing you with the opportunity to participate in your community’s well-being and forge new relationships with others who share similar values.

Volunteering can help you make friends, learn new skills, and even feel happier and healthier. What better way to get to know your neighbours than by volunteering alongside them?

At the WCA, we understand just how vital volunteers are to maintaining healthy and vibrant communities. We are deeply thankful for our community-minded neighbours; they help with everything from programming and events, to filling available board member roles, to representing the WCA when helping out partner agencies in the wider Calgary community.
