May 4th 1pm- 3pm – FREE
Whitehorn Community Association
Explore Whitehorn from the inside out! Join this free walking tour to learn about our diverse neighbourhood and how we connect with it.
We’ll start at the community association, hear from the local scouts troop, and learn more about the demographics of Whitehorn and where the name came from. We’ll follow the path network, and have a discussion about how the community is changing – including an activity to help the community association come up with a new park bench location. We will visit the Whitehorn LRT station, and a new Max Orange BRT stop, and chat about how we’re getting around the community.
Event will continue rain or shine. Wear comfortable footwear, the route is 4km long.
