Just a reminder that Calgary’s 60th annual census is already underway for the year.
Calgarians can provide their census information online at calgary.ca/census. The census information collected is used by the City to assist in planning of services, such as roads, transit, recreation and water services. It is also used by the public and separate school boards for enrolment predictions, decisions on future schools, and by the Government of Alberta for determining per capita grant allocations where available.
Canada Post began delivering access codes to Calgary households on April 3rd. If you have not received an access code, are experiencing technical difficulties or have questions about the Census Online, you can call 403-476-4100 (option 3), Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. or Saturday and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for assistance. 3-1-1 is also available to provide additional information and assistance after hours. Residents can also visit Calgary.ca/census to request a new access code.
If you are unable to complete the census online, door-to-door census collection will begin on April 20, 2018.
